Para destacar, en la ciudad de Manizales la organizacion atiende, en promedio diez mil personas por año todos los estratos sociales, con mayor enfasis en la poblacion de menores ingresos.
Como ejemplo en el año 2.002 dentro del balance de soluciones al consumidor en materia de asesorías y tramites de quejas, se cuentan entre otros por: Incumplimiento de garantías, incumplimiento de contratos, inconsistencia en créditos hipotecarios y créditos de consumo, arrendamientos de vivienda urbana y locales comerciales, reclamaciones por altas facturaciones de los servicios públicos domiciliarios, mala calidad e idoneidad de vehículos, muebles, electrodomésticos y telefonía móvil celular. Las cuantías en suma defendidas ascendieron a Un mil 400 millones de pesos.
